To submit a post to the blog you should follow these steps:

1. You must have privileges granted by Friends of Viera.  If you do not and wish to, you must leave a comment below and someone will respond.

2. Once you have privileges, you will need to visit either the www.friendsofviera.org site or blogger.com and sign in. At the blog, the sign in is located in the upper right hand corner of your screen. 
Once you are signed in, you should see a page similar to this one, with your personalizations.

5)First, you want to enter a title.  Use whatever you think is appropriate. When you are done there, click in the large post box to begin typing your post.  If you will be inserting pictures and you want them to come before your text, I suggest you enter them now by clicking on
The picture is blurry here, but it's a photograph like thing.  Follow the directions to center it if needed or just have it to the right or left.

Now you just type what you'd like to have published.  You can change the text color, size and font, you can also highlight and add links, lists, and quotations.  The very last symbol on the controls looks like torn paper.  It's called a jump.  If you have a long post and you want to make it so that only a part shows on the main page, but it all shows if someone clicks on your post, you use that. 

6) Once you are done with your post check for errors.  I always have some. That's why I'm going to show you how to edit even after it's been published.

7)Before you hit publish, add a few keywords into the Labels bar in the right-lower corner of the post box. These allow the search engines to pull your post in a search.

8) Almost done.  On the upper right there is a blue link that says "Preview."  Check your post using this and make adjustments as needed.

9) Click on Publish Post.  Now you want to look at it again.  It takes you to your post on a seperate page from the rest of the blogs posts. To go back to the main page, just click on the banner.

10. OH NO! You've misspelled something horribly wrong, you made the Masked Duck into a Mad Duck.. What do you do now.. Here's What..

•  Sign Back in
• Instead of clicking on New Post click on Edit Post
• You'll get this Screen

• Find your post and click edit.  Fix your error, add your details, whatever you need to do and click on publish post once more.  All better!
